About Me

I'm a global executive in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, currently working at a private equity firm and advising pharma and biotech executives.  I've worked in both R and D and commercial operations at multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical firms around the globe.  Just as important as that, I was raised in my father's community pharmacy in Iowa.  The values I absorbed from that upbringing, my pharmacy training at the University of Iowa, my research training at the University of Maryland at Baltimore and my career in the biopharma industry have all combined to give me a unique perspective on the Covid-19 pandemic.  If you're looking for an  accessible interpretation of the torrent of Covid information, this blog may be the place for you.
